- Development and Enhancement of 3GPP Release-wise features for UMTS RRC. - Analysis of mobile traces with respect to customer reported defects for UMTS RRC - Capture the findings and fixing of identified defects - Development of test cases for RRC with focus on identified defect/problem area using host / module testing and to increase test coverage.

Layer 3 signalling modules of 3G WCDMA-based RNC are being developed by Aricent for Nokia. The major effort for this is being put into the RRC (Radio Resource Control) layer. My role involves in design, implementation and module testing of RRC features (State transitions, HSDPA/HSUPA, Security Mode)
