• Negotiating pricing, lead times and contracts. • Purchasing of shop requirements including: building supplies, welding consumables, safety equipment, machinery and stock requirements (large variety). • Purchasing of steel (including Zinc), fasteners and chemicals (ZnCl2 / NH4Cl / H2SO4). • Developmental procurement of equipment spare parts and retro fitting of machines. • Maintain Database for suppliers in MRP system. • Maintain and seek out new suppliers and build long lasting relationships.
