I have easily re-entered the workforce and shortly resumed my previous roles. It was easy to get up to speed with the technological and administrative changes, especially since I am surrounded by great colleagues. The latest challenge is the new OpenAPI project which has been very interesting to implement so far, including using SwaggerUI, MongoDB and diving into Docker.

An extended period of maternity leave required to stabilize the health of my daughter with cystic fibrosis.

The P2P solution I work on is a very complex product. We are rebuilding the client from applet to SPA using Angular. Thus, I have improved my front-end skills. I was involved in implementing an Elasticsearch solution for this new web client, but I have also worked with Solr. As for test automation, we use Junit, Mockito and RestAssured. Other main technologies are Spring, JPA, Liquibase and Maven. The system contains several microservices, mostly found in Kubernetes.

I was the sole developer for two legacy insurance applications, in direct discussion with the Product Owner. Apart from actual development and maintenance, I also did analysis and release coordination. The technologies used were JSP, Struts, JSF and Swing for the clients and JPA, JAX-WS and SQL for the back-end. The project was structured using Maven and versioned in CVS, while our build server was Jenkins. Also, I used any spare time to improve the internal web applications while learning new technologies.

Successfully finished my MSc thesis regarding routing in Wireless Sensor Networks. I worked with Zolertia motes using the Contiki operating system and simulations and tests have been done both on the real motes and under Ubuntu, in the Cooja simulator.
