End to end (IT) accountable for E-Commerce solutions serving our B2B customers in Commercial (bulk fuels, lubricants, aviation, marine, bitumen, sulphur) and Retail on a Global level, but also connecting our partners in Manufacturing, Supply, Distribution and Procurement. Key focus areas are web based customer facing solutions as well as "system to system" integration between Shell ERP and customer / trading partner ERP systems.

Co-developed the Global Retail Site Systems strategy with the business. Played a key role in the selection of solution vendors and integration partners as part of a Global tender leading to the approval of a $500 million investment proposal. The purpose was to deliver a strategic platform for secure, reliable, streamlined sites, enabling an improved customer value proposition. Formal Shell accreditation as a Senior Project Manager ("... capable of running our largest and most complex projects...").

1st truly Global/International assignment. Worked with Global business and IT leaders to develop the future Global standard processes and operating model for all Shell Retail sites. Led a Global team with members based in USA, New Zealand, Philippines, Malaysia, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland and Italy). Managed all aspects of site system development with active projects in 15 countries at a time. Formal Shell accreditation as a fully competent project manager.

End to end accountable for IT strategy, projects and operations in a Shell subsidiary with an annual turnover of more than $2 billion p.a.

Started own company seeking a challenge and prospect for career development. Learned the importance of staying focused on the market and customers at all times. Was approached by Shell to take on the role as euroShell IT Manager. Jumped on the opportunity to resume my career within Shell with this challenging prospect.

Main focus on management information, agreeing key performance indicators with all business units and implementing a balanced scorecard for the whole company. Built significant knowledge of the Commercial Road Transport (B2B cards) and the Retail Fleet (B2C cards) businesses.
