• Reimplement a micro radar chip data processing library from Python to C++, achieving an order of magnitude greater performance. • Real-time hand gesture detection radar-based device prototype. Work on the data pipeline model between sensor data acquisition and gesture inference using processed data. • Presence detection device, based on a micro radar chip and an SoC board. Work on the software optimization and integration with the hardware, error recovery measures and the presence reporting backend system

• Prototype a data trading protocol for edge devices using environmental data from sensor hubs. • Implement a proxy server between a Bender car charging controller and a backend system, to pre-process and enrich the transmitted data. • Develop a live parking spot monitoring tool using object recognition techniques. • Automate the software setup of sensor hubs, reducing development and deployment downtime.

Integrate Neutron (OpenStack networking module) with Symnet (a symbolic network analysis engine) to aid in the detection of network configuration changes that break reachability policies.
