Manage a portfolio of 100 major gift prospects capable of making gifts between $100,000 - $10M. Based in the New York City office, geographic region covers the northeast corridor, from Boston to Washington, DC. Assist with creating cultivation and stewardship activities for alumni.

Fundraising consultant to various non-profit organizations including: - Organization of Women Writers of Africa (OWWA) - The Urban Assembly (network of NYC public schools) - Asian Cinevision / NYC Annual Asian American Film Festival - NYU Institute of African American Affairs

Served as deputy to the Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations. Oversaw all major fundraising initiatives including major gift portfolios, the annual fund and the planning for the launch of a $300M campaign. Also managed a team of five staff members comprising the development services area, including database and gift entry, prospect research, special events, communications and donor relations/stewardship.

Managed all alumni outreach activities for the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development and created new engagement opportunities for an alumni base of 60,000. Oversee the Steinhardt Annual Fund, generating $800,000 in annual unrestricted gifts and personally responsible for $250,000 in annual individual giving. Manage the Steinhardt development and alumni relations operational budget.

Served as deputy to the Executive Director and oversaw all operations and administration. Managed the institutional giving program, with special focus on the U.S. federal Fund for the Improvement of Education grant ($1.1M over 3 years). Served as the primary liaison to the ReadNet Bronx Charter School and ReadNet Systems, LLC.

Oversaw all special events programming for the department, including major academic conferences, lectures and arts programs. Assisted with building a membership base of over 5,000 over a 3-year period.
