1. Development, Continuous improvement, and maintenance of the optical components of the Tomra Laser-induced breakdown/Plasma spectroscopy (LIBS) sensors. This includes commercial/in-house developed pulse lasers, spectrometers, scanning systems, optical insulators and filters, test jigs for the mentioned parts, and software. 2. In addition, the development and maintenance of scanning spectroscopic sensors and their Opto-electronic components. This comprises designing and implementing optical experiments.

1. Exploring new technologies and developing new ns pulsed OPO prototypes, Q-switched ns solid-state laser systems in the UV and IR spectrum for medical applications, research, and industry. 2. Characterization, optimization, Production support, and service operations of Q-switched DPSS lasers, Lamp-pumped high power solid-state lasers, and OPO's. 3. Tutored and mentored newly joined field service/production engineers to align pulsed(ns) high power low rep-rate solid-state lasers.
