I discovered information security 12 years ago by chance! Within a few years, I evolved from implementing infosec at the departmental level to defining and managing them globally. In parallel, I punctuated this journey with a master in computer science and certifications such as CISSP, CISA and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. During these years, I have learnt few things about myself. -I'm not comfortable doing things whose value is not commensurate with the efforts. -I am good at spotting suboptimal processes, improving, or replacing them and expanding them very quickly. -Compliance is not written on a piece of paper. Its effectiveness solely depends on the success of its implementation. -Digitalization is the key to increase the acceptance of compliance activities in the organization. -I am only as good as my team. Mentoring and helping it realize its true potential contributes to my own success. -I am constantly learning, refining, and pushing myself to become a better person
