Using Smart Grid Maturity Model (SGMM) to identify the devices (for measurement, control and monitoring of load, frequency, consumption and infeed) with communication protocols (physical and logical) as well as communicated data and formats that are expected to be used by the year 2020 for operating the Smart Grid. Along with Information and communication technologies (ICT) concepts proposed and evaluated for their advantages and disadvantages.

The project chosen is automated Access Control System (ACS) based on Contact-less Smart Cards and PIC Micro-Controller. The project's requirement involves selection of a micro-controller and to design the Access Control System with the selected micro-controller along with subsystems like access and registration sensing mechanism.

Attended a Trainee Program on "SCIMATIC S7 and TIA Control" for 3 weeks during my Bachelor Study in cooperation with Industrial Training Institute.
