Until now, these kinds of solutions were expensive and limited to high value goods. Development from idea to commercialization of a first-of-its-kind solution to track shipments all around the world. This turn-key solution is composed out of a GSM-device and a platform. The first is allowed to be transported on any means of transportation (including aircrafts, which is the first device in the world to be EASA-certified to be used in any country), has the size of a credit card, weights 46g and works during 40+ days. It communicates its position and the shipment status to a managing Platform

During these 2 years, I had the opportunity to explore and develop the end-2-end M2M business of Swisscom CBU. I had the opportunity to develop different topics, among others: - Solutions for the automotive Industry - Solutions for Remote Machine controlling and management - General M2M connectivity. I also had the opportunity to approach other domains related to the core business of the company, like SaaS offering and Mobile Device Management.
