• Developed and maintained the department Emergency Response Plan, Emergency Volunteer Center Plan, and Department Operations Center Plan. • Maintained the citywide Disaster Service Worker program, protocols, and training. • Created and designed emergency response and personal/workplace preparedness training and exercises. • Established emergency preparedness projects including grant development and coordination.

• Planned, developed, conducted, and evaluated emergency management trainings, drills, and exercises. • Created and maintained hazard specific plans along with departmental and agency emergency management plans. • Instructed staff on CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) content and protocols. • Liaised with external agencies and represented the Emergency Management Director and/or department.
