In the capacity of Project Lead as part of the Project Management Office of Allergopharma - a fully owned subsidiary of Merck KGaA - I am leading a novel device (combination product) development project in the field of allergy treatment with a cross-functional and international 25+ FTE project team. The scope of responsibility includes all technical device development, clinical development, manufacturing and supply chain, regulatory filing and pre-launch planning activities

In this role I was responsible for developing and rolling out a new strategic planning and portfolio evaluation process for a 550 FTE, 100m€ business unit with 10 international affiliates. Furthermore, I was in charge of reviewing and analyzing new business development opportunities such as licensing or acquisition deals.
