    Orchestrated the change out of mobile networks in 2 states in the southern United States, including several product introduction programs. Led several parallel project teams, up to 100 people and budget € 30 million. Liaised with customer’s Senior Management on issues resolution and new opportunities on a daily basis. Managed the North American market introduction of Mobile Internet. In Brazil, setup and managed a program to adjust business processes, governance and organizational structure.

    Ericsson Austria, Vienna

    Led the startup and execution of an anticipation program to attract the prospective 4th mobile network licensee in Austria by closing optional leases with property owners and authorities for erecting mobile telephony related equipments, based on suitable network designs. Build and developed the organization from scratch, up to 130 persons, divided in 3 regions, across the country and budget of € 10 m. Managed a fixed networks systems project, from contract negotiation to customer acceptance.

    Build the Project Management Office in India from scratch (15 FTE), including recruiting and hiring staff. Coached and trained new Project Managers. Transferred knowledge on project planning and control including related methods and tools to a large number of deployment projects across India. Led a company wide project for the ERP system introduction which included overhaul and integration of business processes, for Ericsson’s entire Indian subsidiary.

    Led a variety of Mobile Network rollout and system upgrade projects in Spain, Portugal, Kuwait (post-war rebuild), Thailand (1st GSM network) and Malaysia. Played key role in “Tiger Sales Team” in India, to win emerging mobile telco operator contracts. Orchestrated or had a leading role for many € multimillion mobile systems bids, for customers, around the globe.
