Dr. Christoph Enzensperger

Since 2014 I am working as "Privatdozent" and research fellow at the Department of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry in Jena in the Arndt-group. My current research topics are: GPCR ligands with distinct selectivity profiles, Epigenetic Modulators, NAD-mediated neuroprotection, Small Molecules intercepting in NOTCH signaling.

I worked as advisor in preclinical studies. I was involved in various aspects regarding medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.

Drug-repurposing project: Data mining for receptor related phenotypes.

I worked on computational models to explain the affinity of azecine derivatives as highly flexible ligands for dopamine and serotonin receptors

I worked on my Doctorate Ring enlargement, Hydroxylyation and Methoxylyation: News on the SAR of Azecines, which was awarded with summa cum laude
