Employed in the framework of Priority Programme 1473 of the German Research Foundation (DFG): Materials with New Design for Improved Lithium Ion Batteries (Werkstoffe mit neuem Design für verbesserte Lithium-Ionen-Batterien - WeNDeLIB). The main task is investigate novel Sn - based metallic anode materials for next generation of Li-ion batteries. Both thermal analysis experiments and modeling were performed. The work was in collaboration with Vienna University and Jülich Fiorschungszentrum.

Ag-Ge-Zn system was also investigated for the application of solder for the sterling silver jeweries
