After the initial growth of 11Feinde UG was fast, but didn't reflect the potential fast enough, we bought up the biggest German Facebook page, namely "Fussball News International". At the time of purchase, it had less than 200.000 likes until we developed it to almost 300.000 likes, at which time it was being sold. After having the idea of buying a Facebook page, my input was limited to advice relating to proper utilisation of the core principle, click-generation.

11Feinde UG was a start-up based on the notion of revenue by click-generation. My tasks there related to my everyday life in sourcing of information regarding football. The general idea was to create an arbitrage for information flow. Due to the time lack between German- and foreign media, 11Feinde created an advantage over even the big newspapers. The team of 11Feinde understood Spanish, French, Italian and English and was the fastest way to gain insights into foreign leagues at the time being.

During the time in China most of the time consisted of business travels to different companies around Shenzhen/Guangzhou as well as the Beijing area and evaluating their abilities, controlling of quality of products and negotiating prices.

Main focus of my internship in Australia was to gain insight in the on-the-floor servive that rounds up the overall experience. Starting in the headquarters of Freedom Furniture Australia to understand values and concepts, I was send the second half of my internship in Sydney to a store of their lower to middle class brands as well as one store in the upper class segment.

The main activity during the time in London was the retailer side of the business. As in Westerstede, I was shown different areas every week, namely financial, HR, marketing and purchasing. From time to time I was able to take part in executive meetings as well as attend business trips with executives.

The headquarter of Steinhoff Germany with different subsidiaries on the same complex gave me insight into their main operations and how they are dealt with. Mentionable the logistics, service and sourcing sector. Every two weeks I was shown different areas in different sectors.

It ranks among the best universities in Northern Europe and in international rankings.
