I have engaged in a number of consultancy work projects for different clients, e.g. in counter-terrorism modelling for DSTL Porton Down, for MOD and for different private clients. I have built various AI type games to model scenarios and some commercial applications in the mobile telephony market. Currently I am trying to put together my AI and machine learning software offering in two markets to sell licenses. Also I have around 100 days of expert and vice-chair in EU Horizon 2020.

Pioneered capability: Genetic Programming to solve defence problems: e.g. AI inspects 25 miles of combat aircraft imagery for targets. Contributed well cited papers to the fundamentals of the GP at start of the field. Deployed technology to commercial problems in transport and medicine. Inducted Company Fellow (2002).

Pioneered a team that wrote all of the CAE software to help teams of engineers design complex off shore oil platforms in such a way that sequential and parallel steps in project excecution were more measurables and re-work upstream in design could be judged for its consequences downstream. Worked with five engineering disciplines and wrote the software across all disciplines. Our software combined database, screen painters, Visual Basic, MIT's KAPPA.

Rolls-Royce Research Fellow in Computational Fluid Dyanmics based at Pembroke College, Oxford

Joint appointment in the Numerican Analysis Group, Oxford University Computing Laboratory, Mathematical Institute.

Developed my Computational Fluid Dynamics software to maximise its performance and explore all manner of Linear Algebra algorithm and Numerical Methods in Engineering on the supercomputers of the day Cray XMP, Cray 2, and on different parallel architecures: connection machine and transputers.

Computational Fluid Dynamics: Turbulent flow modelling developed among world's first 3D FEM turbulent flow for confined flows of interest to turbine engine fin colling, restoring ellipticity to equations. All software developed from scratch in FORTRAN on supercomputers. Comparison to laser doppler.

Advanced courses in Chemical Engineering. Thesis developed the Finite Element Method for modelling problems in rheology and metal forming, e.g., solution of deformation gradient tensors to ensure laminar mixing in such processes.
