Leading a global Business Solutions Team (IT) for Chemicals out of Houston, TX with project and maintenance accountabilities. IT project lead for Europe and Asia of the global SAP integration program, migrating > 4500 users into a new global SAP instance; In parallel, accountable IT Senior Process Lead for the Supply Chain Domain.

Running a global IT service department with 40 internal SAP, e-Business and local applications team members in EU, NA and Asia and 30 additional external service providers; responsible for the overall end-to-end 24/7 service towards Business for all global IT Core Systems, incl. a single SAP instance with more than 4500 named users worldwide, global e-Business systems and various local applications essential for Basell's business processes.

Leading a global team of 15 IT colleagues in EU, NA and Asia to manage all projects and services related to global e-business initiatives. Coverage: portals, web-shops, ERP-to-ERP connections, VMI, Intranet services and own auction platform of Basell. During 2005 and 2006 based in Belgium (Brussels) to support the start-up and expansion of a no-frills e-business channel.

Responsible to maintain, improve and optimize the Sales & Logistics (SD) Processes within SAP R/3. In addition to system configuration itself, organizing regular key-user meetings to share expertise and drive standardisation.

Supporting the development of the Sales and Logistics Module for the Plastic (Polyolefins) section in Frankfurt, incl. various order processes, the Sales Info System and specific sub-procedures (e.g. pricing and batch allocation).
