The aim of the summer school was to compare selected energy security related questions from perspectives of the U.S. as well as of European Union states.

The mission of the Engineering Systems and Management Program is to create corporate and government leaders that can effectively deal with global energy and sustainability challenges that involve large scale systems.

The ISU provided a solid foundation in photovoltaics, solar thermal technologies, wind energy, solar architecture, sustainability, smart grids and energy storage. Well-known researchers and scientists from leading universities gave lectures covering topics on the principles of renewable energy.

The MSc provided balanced education in renewable energies science, engineering and management. It offered adequate skills and expertise required for a comprehensive understanding of most recent technological, institutional, and economical issues related to renewable energy planning and development.

The BSc is designed to provide students with an understanding of the dynamics of corporate operations that will make them more effective in the workplace and will better prepare them for managerial or technical leadership roles in the corporate environment.
