Product Life Cycle Management In Life Cycle Management Team (LCM), we make sure that design requirements are met as well as apply the design change process and identify technical solutions in this context. As a member of the Global Product Engineering (GPE) team, I will be responsible for the Stryker’s Trauma & Extremities product portfolio in Kiel such as Intramedullary Nails, External Fixators, Bone Plates & Screws, Surgical Instruments.
I am working in Julius Wolff Institute for Biomechanics and Musculoskeletal Regeneration at Universitätsmedizin Charite as a research assistant. I am doing my PhD in the field of Mechanobiology and investigating two different aspects, computational and cellular biology.
I have corrdinated a benchmark project which was experimentally and numerically investigated by 7 different biomechanics labs in Germany and Austria (University of Rostock, TU Vienna, MHH Hannover, University of Duisburg, University of Muenster, Trauma Center Murnau, Fraunhofer Application Center Large Structures in Production Technology AGP, and University of Munich (LMU). We wanted to test the accuracy of imaged based modeling and finite element analysis methodologies for the orthopeadics purposes.

I have done my PhD at Biomechanics and Implant Technology Research Laboratory at Department of Orthopaedics at University of Rostock. During my PhD I performed: 1- Experimental Mechanical tests 2-Finite Element Analysis 3-Statistical Shape Analysis 4- 3D reconstruction of Musculoskeletal system using CT and MRI data 5- Developing the idea and co-authored an accepted DFG proposal
