• Monitoring the core network infrastructure of a European telecommunication network • Own and manage incidents from initial reporting until resolution, ensuring SLA targets are achieved • Responsible for troubleshooting, and support of customer issues • Remotely test data /transmission circuits, troubleshoot problems, and work with third party vendors. • Update ticketing system at required intervals with quality information, following operational guidelines.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to routers/switches and network topology, equipment and configuration; • Configuration, maintenance, and support of the enterprise network consisting of Cisco routers and switches; • Offer Level 1, 2 and 3 supports for problems identified with systems and network; • Work within the IT Management System and contribute to its continuous improvement; • Troubleshoot complex networking and communication issues;

• Migration planning and port availability for commercial ports in actual core routers (Cisco 76xx, Juniper Mx960) to new core routers (Cisco ASR 9K, Cisco CRS-1/3, Juniper Mx960) • Comparing commercial port services (EPL, EVPL, ENS, EDIA). • Generating configuration scripts for each commercial port services (EPL, EVPL, ENS, EDIA). • Migrating commercial ports from actual routers newly (Cisco 76xx, Juniper Mx960) into newly integrated routers (Cisco ASR 9K, Juniper Mx960) during Comcast maintenance window.
