Transformation and innovation projects in the Last Mile area for a B2C distribution leader

Managed the Operations Strategic Development, Engineering and Methods Department, and Maintenance Department (25 people). In charge of the development of operations strategic infrastructure projects: Reduce the number of sites, relocate and open new distribution centers and plate-forms, merge domestic and international operations, implement automated parcel sorting systems, implement new processes.

Strategic Project Management. Restructured TNT France Operations: Blue print co-definition, evaluation of the impacts, preparation of the administrative documentation, and presentations to works councils. Costs reduction program on Pick Up & Delivery operations. Developed a domestic ‘Pallet Express’ delivery service in France.

Managed a project office team in charge of cross functional project management and transformation projects. Developed and implemented new and standardized processes, IT systems, and innovations, for operations. Implemented B2C strategic customer contracts and partnerships. Managed the implementation of new services and revenue improvement projects.

Managed 4 project managers in charge of Operations Projects. Worked in an international team in the Netherlands on the definition of standardized processes and IT systems for operations across the world. Implemented a single centralized customs clearance office (vs 12 before) and new customs clearance processes and systems. Implemented strategic customer contract (Geopost-TNT International contract, from 5 EU countries).

Managed a team of 4 Process Engineers Implemented international operations in the domestic sites further the acquisition of Jet Service. Designed and implemented new processes, equipments, IT systems, and innovations, for operations. Organized and conducted compliance audits in the international distribution centers.

Managed operations and a team of a 90 people and 110 subcontracted drivers in the main TNT distribution center in France.

Development of France International Infrastructure: Designed and implemented new buildings and facilities (South Europe International Road Hub, Paris CDG Air Gateway, Paris main distribution centre, Lyon distribution centre).

Process design and implementation. Implemented parcels scanning & tracking devices, conveyor systems, Check Weight & Volume equipment, working stations. Developed training programs for operations.
