Leading a small team, responsible to monitor and control capacity usage across the different business units and at group level. Responsible to establish rules and methodologies for measuring capacity usage at single business level for perils EQ and Wind. Included software tool development and project management with internal and external IT partners.

Development of Partner Re’s proprietary earthquake risk analysis tool (CatFocus EQ). Loss estimation using CatFocus after the occurrence of a major earthquake. Support underwriting in setting up and pricing non traditional business (eg.parametric EQ covers).

Employed at the engineering department of Winterthur Re in facultative underwriting for large construction projects (tunnels, dams, mass transit systems) car/ear business with a second responsibility in the accumulation control of the property non life business of Winterthur Re. Participation in the Winterthur Group Risk Management project to establish an internal CAT-exposure data reporting system based on the commercial cat modeling environment from RMS (IRAS).

Civil engineering company, specialized in planning, construction and maintenance of rail and road tunnels. I was involved in the development of a new remote sensing method to investigate the constructional state of tunnel linings using thermography (publications for technical journals).
