Performed Project Services tasks: • Reviewing and checking contractors progress, reviewing invoices for contract compliance. • Following up fulfilment of the contract requirements by the contractors Achievements. • Appointed as a back-up for the Contracts Manager. • Created a Cost Reporting System to summarize all projects in a comprehensive format for management. • Took the lead in preparing the main monthly report of the biggest project accurately and on time.

Supported other Project Controls team members on their assigned infrastructure (highways and road rehabilitation) projects. Achievements: • Integrated quickly into an unfamiliar industry with project control principles used rarely in Romania. • Prepared histograms of the actual production of the concrete and asphalt production plants. • Created cost models to give an accurate cost per cubic meter and ton based on the production recipe.

Volunteer providing support to the organization in two projects: • Preparing and reporting of the Former Members Satisfaction Survey. • Promoting PMI Romania Chapter to recruitment agencies and medium-large size companies as the starting point in any search for Project Management Professionals.

Site Cost Controller (Short term contract not extended due to impending project completion) Represented the QChem II Project (Polyethylene Derivatives Plant) Project Controls Team in the daily commissioning meetings, prepared the asset register as per contractual terms and provided input to the cost report (vendor & project staffing section). Achievements: • Quickly integrated with the Team and became familiar with the project's status and reporting.

Involved in estimating for the tendering process for new investments for various types of civil constructions and provide support by joining the a project team for planning and coordinating the mechanical and electrical works on site for erection of the Adevarul Typography. Achievements: • Performed Construction Management by supervising the construction site in rotation with other colleagues. • Provided good communication with the client representatives for payment approval of the works performed.

Worked on the €800m Dambovita Center Project, responsible for the project’s Structural Steel Package (~65000 mt) and estimated budget for the structural works • Set up Cost Models of executed projects by Plaza Centers • Support preparation of the bidding package for the Structural Steel works; Achievements: • Setup and implemented the Change Management Procedure to control all project deviations. • Reconciled the cost of the company's similar projects finalized into a consistent comparison database.

Five months’ field rotation with QatarGas Common Sulfur Project (QG CSP) in Qatar • Learned the basis of the Project Controls/Project Services discipline on a big project in an international environment, which built a good foundation for all subsequent accomplishments • Fast track learning of the Project Controls procedures and the Washington way of doing business • Prepare various ad-hoc reports for project analysis and learned Earned Value Management
