Gianni Anchois

Recently moved to HP Enterprise Services, Global Outsourcing division, after 10 years at HP in several marketing positions, including country, regional and global responsibility. Before that, I worked at Yahoo! Italy as Sales director and I was Sales Manager for Large Accounts an internet service provider and e-commerce company. Lived in Caracas (Venezuela) for 3 years working at Olivetti as Service Director. I lead people toward a common goal.

I am a founding member of Yahoo! Italy, back then it was only 5 of us and it was a lot of fun - web 1.0 was heroic!

I sold internet connections to large customers and professional associations. I also managed one of the very first European Online CyberMalls, signing-on re-sellers, developing online shops and running the e-commerce platform.

This is where I started my professional career, at the headquarters of Olivetti & C. in Ivrea - Italy. From the early bulletin boards and 300 baud acoustic coupler connections, I developed and managed one of the very first international remote support centers in Europe, running on Stratus Computers fault tolerant machines (good old VOS). Spent last three years at Olivetti de Venezuela, based in Caracas, as Service Director.
