My duties as Channel Program Manager were to build the strategy around channel programs and channel programs recruitment. I reported directly to the VP EMEA Server Virtualization and was part of the EMEA XenServer Management team. I build up the XenServer channel, delivered channel tools and communications to support our partner recruitment and provided channel support and direction for the Citrix XenServer Channel.

As a Territory Manager for EMEA and APAC I worked closely with distributors and channel partners to ensure effective partner recruitment and enablement, as well as partner based demand generation, and lead/opportunity management. I worked to build up the XenSource channel and was a key player in the early sales process. XenSource was aquired by Citrix Systems October 2007.

As the Product Marketing Manager for EMEA, I was responsible for product marketing, positioning & marketing management of the Swyx product portfolio across EMEA sales and EMEA channel partners. My strengths in this role centre around supporting sales teams across the EMEA Region, and acting as the interface between product development, marketing and sales by translating and positioning technology, customer and business requirements.

I was solely responsible for all marketing, communication activities and strategies, as well as for all the software products and product related services. During my time in the company there was a 36% increase in sales, largely due to marketing initiatives and programmes that I introduced. I planned and executed marketing campaigns from concept to implementation and managed the project budgets. My role also involved agency management (i.e. media, public relations and film).

My duties as an Account & Marketing Manager included generating new business, customer care, strategic consultation in the field of new media and marketing. During my time at 21TORR I became familiar with the latest media technologies. I created concepts and solutions to transfer marketing strategies and business processes online.
