As a native speaker of both Icelandic and German, having grown up in both countries and holding dual citizenship, I completed my studies and am now pursuing a doctorate in cultural studies in Germany. Throughout my upbringing in a diplomatic family that moved around the world, I had the opportunity to experience diverse cultures and languages. As a result, I have used English as my standard language of communication for most of my life.
