Performing duties related to the management of human resources in a multi-cultural and international setting, which includes staff members from 12 different countries

Managing all aspects of finance, budget, disbursement and payroll functions for a military unit with appx. 700 employes (plus appx 3.000 enlisted pers) and appx 18 M US$ budget

1)Managing all aspects of finance, budget, disbursement and payroll functions for a military unit with appx. 300 employes Liasioning with regional UN headquarters and other military units, 2)Handling all UN-related financial and administrative affairs, 3)Supervising finance/administration staff (3 Turkish nationals) and local language assistants (4 Lebanese nationals) as well as evaluating their job performance

1)Working on strategic planning teams and providing resource management expertise, 2)Contirubuting to the best use of Nation’s defense resources with an emphasis on ensuring that investment projects are properly planned, resourced and executed 3)Contributing to initiatives aimed improving project management, purchasing and contract administration processes, 4)Contributing to European Union accession activities in the areas of public procurement and free movement of capital.

1)Directing and controlling the budgeting for 50+ military hospitals and 150+ smaller medical centers, 2)Preparing and distributing budgeting guidelines to subordinate activities 3)Analyzing the budget estimates received from activities and prioritizing the requirements in accordance with the goals, missions and the monetary ceiling, 4)Phasing total estimated cash requirements into the fiscal quarters, 5)Distribution of the funds to subordinate activities. 6)Overseeing the execution of the budget

1)Working as part of the strategic planning team on delivering the next 10 year plans and programs for the multi-billion dollar investment projects 2)Setting up and improving program/project assesment/evaluation procedures, 3)Assessing investment proposals from a strategic point of view, i.e. compatability with with organizational objectives, long-term resource strains, life cycle cost implications and second/third order effects, 4)Evaluating performance of the on-going programs/projects,
