My current duties are software maintenance of private cloud and AWS cloud. Main exposures are automation and configuration management. Main tools and technologies that I use are Ruby and Chef. Tasks I take on are mainly L3 support of private cloud, deployment of SaaS solutions and configuration management for AWS instances.

My duties were configuration and testing of network equipment, such as Advanced Gateways. Main exposures of my duties are networking and WAN-side network virtualization and automation of deployment processes. During this period, I got practice with in-depth network protocols analysis alongside with new technologies in software maintenance (Chef and Puppet).

Within all employment period at Comstar I was responsible for configuring access and aggregation level network equipment. During this period I acquired practical skills in working with different vendors, such as Cisco, Huawei, MikroTik, D-Link. My main responsibilities were to configure switching and routing between the client and our network. This included configuring VLANs, trunks, STP, InterVLAN routing, NAT, OSPF, etc.

Main duties and responsibilities were: network administration and maintenance (pc-based routing and switching), maintenance of mail server (Exim) and DNS server, also working with cPanel and configuring some hosting-related services (backup, clean-up procedures, limitations)
