• Modified and improved the DMAIC process for in-house warehousing. • Developed a new tool for the calculation of safety stock and reorder point. • Conducted the company’s quarterly market study related to warehousing, distribution and logistics trends in the MENA region.

• Developed “skills matrices” to help cell leaders keep track of their team’s skills and trainings. • Established a training program, which is now offered at the facility, by creating the syllabi and curricula for twenty courses and updating the training manager software accordingly. • Designed and prototyped a cell layout for the newly introduced “electrical harness” cell using the 3P approach.

• Calculated the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the main printing machine, performed a root-cause analysis and proposed improvement strategies. • Developed a new technique for waste management and implemented it by advising ten employees on the procedures to be followed. • Improved the quality management system by introducing new facility checklists and corrective and preventive action plans.

Final Project: Collaborated with Siemens for two weeks in order to design a tool to engage more employees in innovative thinking and idea-sharing.
