Jos Kohn

Founder of Astroevents. Astroevents organises astronomy evenings in collaboration with restaurants in the region of Fribourg/Bern. During these events the visitor receives an insight into the fascinating domain of astronomy. The events combine an interactive presentation with a dinner and observation of the sky.

My Phd project is carried out in the field of quantum optics. I collaborate with the Institute of applied Physics of the University of Bern in this field. Keywords of my project: entangled photons, fiber optics, light scattering Teaching duty: Advanced student laboratory in the field of Astrophysics
