Producing research and strategy reports on issues involving FX, interest rates, sovereign and corporate debt in east-central Europe, former Soviet Union, Middle East and Africa, particularly Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, UAE and Egypt. Regular dialogue on strategy calls with buy-side financial investors in investment bank proprietary trading desks, hedge funds and asset management firms.

Country risk research for financial institutions and energy companies on countries of east-central Europe, former Soviet Union and the Middle East, particularly Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, writing analytical reports and making presentations for senior executives. Maintaining regular contacts with in-country teams and amongst relevant experts and government officials in said countries, send out daily and weekly updates and analysis to clients in US, Europe and Japan.

Preparing reports and presentations to advise financial institutions on the macroeconomic, political and security developments in east-central Europe with strong emphasis on Turkey. Developing economic ratings for some 20 emerging market countries, including Turkey, Poland, Brazil, Russia, China and India, as part of the Lehman Brothers Eurasia Group Stability Index (LEGSI), a qualitative comparative index designed specifically to measure stability in emerging markets.
