Kallal Pramanik

Kallal Pramanik, PhD, MBA, MSc is a Sr Director with PHG a consulting company supporting biopharmas for clinical and commercial strategies. After MS from GBPUA&T’s Mol Biol & Genetic Engg dept in 1998, he joined IISc, Bangalore, for PhD at the Dept of Microbiol and Cell Biol. Later, he moved to the Uni of Wuerzburg to complete his PhD. For his fellowship, he worked extensively in translational biology at the MCW Wisconsin and Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He has contributed to a dozen high-impact publications in journals like Blood, PNAS, JBC, Nano Letters. Later, Kallal joined the industry, Connexious, as a lead scientist heading biomarker & vitro assay team; focused on designing in vitro models recreating human pathophysiology to screen drug candidates. At Prescient Healthcare, Kallal and his teams work with 8 out of the top 10 biopharmaceutical companies as their product and portfolio strategy partner for optimal patient outcomes and value for the companies and their shareholders
