Unterstützung der Kunden vor Ort durch praktische Schulungen zur korrekten Wartung des BPW-Produkts. Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vertrieb und Unterstützung bei der Kalkulation und Angebotserstellung für Sonderprojekte.

Involved in production support on the factory floor, which includes helping with the set-up of a project, finding alternative ways to complete a project so as to reach project deadline and helping out with drawing queries. Additional responsibilities include the involvement in the production planning of the projects, managing of the drawing department and reverse engineering replacement parts, such as gears and shafts, for Mills and Earth moving equipment. Involved with estimation and quotation.

I completed numerous projects in the structural auditing of bulk handling machines. The purpose of the audit was to determine weak points in the structure. I worked on numerous international projects as well. I was responsible for three design projects, which included a new loading chute for a train load out station, mounting structure for a torque arm of a hydraulic motor on a Stacker/Reclaimer and upgrading a Tippler structure to handle higher material loads.

The course was focused on Welding Engineering. Subjects passed: - Design of welded structures - Fabrication engineering - Welding metallurgy - Welding processes

The topic of the Master’s was to investigate the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of nanofluids in the transitional flow regime. The research required the building and acquisition of a new setup and testing equipment which a fellow student and myself designed and built.
