She was also involved in the benchmarking and acceptance testing of high end computing systems. In addition, she developed, organized and presented parallel programming courses.

Starting off with an Alliant FX80 (8 vector processor) system with vt100 terminals, the infrastructure was upgraded to a Cray EL (4 vector processor) system, 3 HP700 workstation and X-terminals. The other half of her post focussed on software devevelopment, incl. a range of pre-processing tools for automatic 2D and 3D mesh generation including automatic refinement for areas with increased stress levels.
