Participated in the preliminary screening of serum samples from patients suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. The aim was to identify serum biomarker candidates that can help in the improvement of diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of this disease.

Supported the development of a new financial reporting tool and took responsibility for the testing and data validation. Furthermore, I also took care of pieces of training and created related documentation for stakeholders. Later on, I switched to the Healthcare Procurement Marketing and Sales (MS) team, where I supported Patrick Pabst in developing the Strategic priorities for the Category of MS.

Oncology Master student

Master thesis internship in which I studied the role of TRAPP complexes in the sensitivity to glioblastoma treatment. The primary strategy relied on the knockout of TRAPP genes in a GBM cell line with the CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Posteriorly to the knockout validation, cells were exposed to GBM treatment, and cell behaviour was studied with a clonogenic assay.
Participated in many projects where the main focus was to monitor the quality and stability of internal products such as Emulsions I.V. Took responsibility for my own project with a focus on the study of the effect of saliva in commercial thickeners for dysphagia treatment. Worked under GMP guidelines and supported the correct handling of reports and other documentation, such as SOPs.
