I have recently finished in December 2008 the Certificate Professional Development Programming with C#.NET at Liverpool John Moore’s University and have been researching the use of MVC technology together with SQL Server for use with web site production and maintenance. I am constantly looking for work. Course based understanding was how important business objects are to C# classes.

I was a member of a number of customer service teams. I also gained experience in statistical team management work which I produced on a daily basis records and reports about my colleagues’ workload involvement with the other organisations. I also updated the Escalation Management Procedures document in Microsoft Word. Project based commercial understanding that I have learned is about the importance of listening to your customer and the provision of a quality service.

I used a software tool called E PLAN, printing robot circuit labels, produced part orders for special requests. However because EPLAN was heavily electrically oriented, I found that this was not suited to my skills and the work trial ended.

I produced programming and designing work, using Cold Fusion and Oracle SQL, to add contract and company address handling capabilities to store and delete account data onto the Intranet System, effectively a web based ERP system.

I was a member of a team responsible for the development of an Internet based Booking System for the Travel Industry, sitting on top of an existing booking system, communicating via a server. Due to company restructuring, my position did no longer exist and further development continued at the company headquarters in Belgium. The most important thing I learnt on this project was how important communication between the front and back office systems which ultimately direct the users selection.

I was firstly involved in writing C programs in Borland C++ version 5.0 to handle verb parameters within COBOL source files, which when fed into the year 2000 Software tool would provide an assessment of date implications. I then additionally wrote a comparison report to evaluate another source-scanning package called Sascan32 against sample COBOL code. Commercially I learnt how important the work of Generis was to their clients related to possible incorrect date processing.

I was a member of a number of teams and projects that included Projects Database & Administration Duties, Windows Help System, Value Added Routines, Product Porting. A project Configuration Control Utility (CCU) was the one that I had most involvement with was between December 1990 and January 1994. I also was involved in an assortment of other projects. Commercially I learnt how important change management important to any organisation

I worked as part of a software development team on Weapon Assessment Software over two different two generations of the product.

I was solely responsible for the successful development and implementation of a system to enable clerks to input information received over the telephone written in Filetab on a DEC VAX system

I started as an Apprentice Development R&D Gas Technician and undertook development work on domestic gas appliances to British Standards of both Safety and Performance in the Research and Development Department, following a four-year combined Apprenticeship / Part-Time technical study.
