Centre of Excellence member, responsible for establishing standards for the data science community within the company, and development of AI solutions across the bank. Worked on problems involving unstructured text data, utilising a wide range of NLP techniques. Developed OCR tools for notarial acts and HR forms. Created materials and led lecture sessions for an in-house AI bootcamp. (3 levels, 200+ participants)

A 12 month internship involving work around a big data stack within a team in the Liquidity Risk Infrastructure group. All projects involved programming in Java (Spring), but the role also exposed to the rest of the technology stack (Angular, S3), a robust suite of testing tools, and the CI/CD pipelines.  

First Class Honours. Master's thesis: "Tool for Synthetic Language Text Generation & Analysis using Deep Learning LSTM Models".
