Scope of responsibilities dictate understanding the innovations/inventions in the field of software technology, proprietary to the company and writing complete patent specifications thereon. Also involved in conducting patent prior-art searches and inventions' novelty assessment.

Principally involved in writing patent applications that are eventually filed at the USPTO, and in prosecuting for filed patent applications. The Technological coverage includes inventions in the domain of Mechanical Engineering, including Vehicle Collision Detection Systems, Vehicle Safety Mechanisms/Structures, Hydroformed Mechanisms for use in Vehicles.

Principally focused on writing patent applications, and prosecuting for filed patent applications at the US Patent Office. Focused on inventions in the domain of Mechanical and Biomedical industry.

Being the key IP professional of the company, I was involved in understanding, research and development of innovations in the domain on HVAC, conducting prior-art search to assess their patentability, and eventually, writing patent application pertaining to those innovative ideas. Further, tackled trademark infringement and identified potential licensing opportunities for the company.

My role was to teach and mentor aspirants on IIT-JEE and other engineering entrance examination, and to prepare test series, quizzes and phase test questionnaire. Went through the rigorous and robust training by renowned physics faculties of the institute, and had the opportunity to strengthen my grip over the concepts of physics.

Was Involved in conducting Patent Prior-art Searches on several Databases, including Westlaw, Thomson Innovation, Micropatent, Delphion, etc. Handled patent invalidity searches.

Understanding inventions in the domain of Mechanical Engineering and other Technological Sectors, and conduct extensive novelty assessment searches on different patent databases, to evaluate patentability of those inventions. Extensively searched on Patent and Non-Patent Databases, such as Micropatent, Delphion, ScienceDirect, patseer, etc.

I was principally involved in Responding to patent Office Actions for inventions in the domain of Mechanical Engineering. Further, wrote a few provisional patent applications, handled patent infringement and freedom-to-operate projects, etc.
