This experience consisted in the liquid chromatography and HPLC methods development, implementation and validation to support research projects in the oil industry. This experience also included laboratory management, laboratory activities coordination, training, and ensuring the laboratory operational capability, the quality and overall performance under the ISO 17025:2005 quality system.

This work experience consisted in the use of ASTM, EPA and UOP standards applied to crude oil, petroleum products, surfactants, organic reaction products, organic environmental pollutants, polluted waters and soil samples using gas chromatography and mass spectrophotometry (GC-MS), Purge and Trap (P&T-GC-MS), DIP/DEP-GC-MS.

This initial experience consisted the use of liquid chromatography (TLC and HPLC in reversed phase, normal phase, ionic pair and size exclusion) coupled to spectrometric detectors to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis. The work also included drafted reports on all tests and research results. the operation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instruments and the organization, evaluation and accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories under ISO/IEC 17025.

This work experience consisted in the commercialization of chemical raw material and consulting for formulation of chemical consumer products: cosmetics, detergents, glues, asphalt base products, paints. This work also included budget and market strategies.
