Berufserfahrung von Marina Dasic Tomic

  • 5 Jahre und 7 Monate, Mai 2008 - Nov. 2013

    Research Associate

Institute of General and Physical Chemistry, Belgrade, Serbia

I worked in a laboratory that deals with chemical analyses for third parties. My duties concerned the determination of metal content by the AAS in commercial samples of underground, surface and drinking water. I also mastered the techniques of determining the alkalinity and water hardness, using volumetric methods. I was also involved in the project of the Ministry of Science "Lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells: Research and development" as a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Physical Chemistry.

  • 1 Jahr und 8 Monate, Aug. 2006 - März 2008

    Research assistant

Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, Serbia

I worked as a research assistant under the project “Materials for Lithium Polymer Batteries”, funded and supervised by Varta Microbattery GmbH (Germany). My work on the project has been consisting of exploring and synthesizing new, alternative materials for lithium-ion batteries. Most of the techniques I used on a daily basis would include preparing Lithium batteries inside Argonfilled glove box for testing their performance on Arbin instrument.
