I am a translation and language service expert who has combined his great loves to found Otago Translations, an agency specializing in b2b translation in Czech, Slovak languages, yet putting my 20+ years of translation industry experience to good use in other languages and subject areas. I am a passionate advocate for both quality translation and the industry itself. Alongside my day jobs, I have experience at industry association level, having been a Board Member of the European Union Association of Translation Associations, President of the Association of Translation Companies of Slovakia and one of the founders and organizers of Meet Central Europe Conference, the go to event for any business related to Central and Easter European languages.
