Amadeus is a worldwide leader in the travel industry. It provides a wide range of services for both travel companies and customers, from searching for tickets, pricing, booking, etc. to software solutions for airline companies and travel agencies. It has the largest civil data center in the Europe. The system is transaction based, and it had almost a billion billable transactions in 2011. Technologies used: C++, Oracle, Linux, Windows, internal tools, etc. Official language is English.

Maintenance and development of new functionalities of the existing software - main duties of my team were regarding new functionalities and further development of the software. Software is for securities finance, and is used by foreign clients - some of the biggest companies in the world (JPM, UBS, etc.). Technologies used are C++, Java, Oracle, etc. Official language was English.

Premier is a betting company. It had more than 300 branch offices and was one of the biggest in the Balkans at the time I worked there. All branches and the main office are constantly connected through the system developed by Premier's IT department (me being part of it). It is a very complex system that handles everything connected with the company - data processing, presenting, storing, finance, communication between branches and the main office, etc. Technologies used are C++, Qt, Linux, etc.

Starion is an SMS provider. At the time I worked there, it was ranked 2nd in Serbia. My duties were to develop and maintain company's web site, and also two portals which were used by clients. Technologies used were PHP, PostgreSQL, Linux

This practice was organized with the idea to give students some practical knowledge. There was a limited number of places for this practice, and a lot of students applied, so I find getting one of those a recognition by itself. During this practice, I found out how things are done in big companies, but also gained some real knowledge through participating in projecting and implementing databases for seminars organized by the chamber.

These programs were meant not only to help us understand geometry better, but also to assist younger students, through bringing two important parts of the geometry course to the screens, showing animations with polygons and isometries. This was done under DAAD project, which was a cooperation of our faculty, German government and Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. I wrote my programs using C++ and Qt.

A friend of mine and I made an internet forum, from scratch. At first, it was meant to be just a tiny board, that was supposed to be a little community site, just for people at our faculty. But then it grew with popularity, and, at the end, we got to the point when it became an ordinary forum, with all options other boards had at the time.

This was my first bigger project using C++ and Qt. It was a diary in which a person could save everything that happened to him, and it could be visible only by him, because everything was coded with a given password. This program was written as a part of a C++ related exam at my second year of studies. The accent was put on using object-oriented structures, inheritance and other advanced C++ capabilities. It was rated as one of the best students' works that year.
