I have spent 9 months in an international neuroscience research lab at VIB-UAntwerp Center for Molecular Neurology in Antwerp, Belgium. I have worked with a fruit fly model of CMT disease and I have utilized RT-qPCRs, bioinformatic and behavioral tools to unravel the function of the mutant protein.
