• Responsible for design & development for BIW parts (Roof, A, B, C Pillar & plastic parts – Roof Rack, Fuel Lid Assy) • Define & evaluate cost reduction strategy to achieve target • Supplier development & Interaction to meet project Quality, Cost & Time • Managing Interaction between Nissan Technical center, Japan & local team • Styling feedback, typical section creation & analysis. • Liaison with Styling, planning, Supplier teams to achieve high quality, cost effective, customer oriented product.

• Design & development of BIW parts for passenger car. • Interaction with Japanese counterparts to create strategy for local part development. • Interaction with weld engg & supply chain team to identify in-house & supplier parts. • Selection of toolmakers and vendors by conducting technical review & specification meeting.

• Design & development of BIW parts & assemblies for Trucks cab. • Material selection for sheet metal parts • Interaction with CAE team for analyzing the BIW assemblies with respect to corresponding load conditions • Interaction with cab electrical team for wiring harness routing & ECU packaging • Interaction with production planning department and supplier to achieve DFM & DFA for making welding fixtures in early stages of design cycle

• Design & development of Instrument clusters, Instrument panels, round instruments, sensors etc., • Detailed study & collaborative approach along with concerned teams to understand stated and implied needs of customer. • Review Customer claims & offer solutions during development stage. • Preparation of 3D models/2D drawings using CAD software’s by applying the concept of Design for manufacturing &assembly. • Preparation & updating of DFMEA related to project.
