Graduated from the Schools of Mechanical Engineering and Mining and Metallurgical Engineering of the National and Technical University of Athens. In Mechanical Engineering I specialized in aerodynamics where I completed my thesis in aerodynamic analysis of Helicopter main rotor. In Mining and Metallurgical Engineering I specialized in geotechnology and mainly in designing and construction of tunnels. In the field of geotechnology/geotechnical engineering I earned the Master of Science Diploma (MSc) with title “Design and Construction of Underground Works”. My academic background is extented to the field of nanomecanics, where I performed my Doctor of Philosophy Diploma (PhD). Specifically, I emphasized in the effect of the different type of interfaces to the overall behavior of a nano-composite material.
