1. Manage procurement of electrical parts as per Yamaha std. practices 2. Regular follow up for parts to meet the production requirements based on Yamaha manufacturing system. 3. Act as a conduit between the management & supplier base panning across India.

• Ensure on time development of proto parts to cater for vehicle build & Powertrain shops. • Assess suppliers panning across the project to meet the demand WRT launch time line. • Negotiate with various logistics service providers for best prices in India to ship parts across various global vehicle development centers.

• Floating RFQ’s to suppliers for new projects & nominating through global sourcing committee. • Analyzing the quotations received from different suppliers & negotiating to obtain the best price. • Managing supplier performances by conducting supplier offer review meeting along with the SQE to ensure all the inputs in costing for a part before finalizing the prices • Planning & executing cost reduction workshops to identify potential cost drivers in any existing part to meet the AOP targets

Maintained inventory to obtain optimum results & handled scrap disposal in order to achieve cost savings, Ensured timely delivery of material to respective project sites by tracking deliveries as per purchase order, Assisted in planning the purchase of parts & DG goods with shelf life from global suppliers without expiry to match the regular requirement

Analysed quotations, acquired technical submittals and negotiated with the approved supplier, Identified & developed an alternate vendor source in order to achieve cost effectiveness in purchasing of raw materials and to reduce the delivery time

Coordinated with all the groups, international clients, sales team, project manager, QA/QC, material control, purchasing & shipping department to expedite shipments to global customers
