I secured and managed funds of over 1.7M USD from Carnegie Corporation, Jordan Government, Forum of Federation and Canal France International (CFI). Organized and managed 10 conferences and training relating to media and journalism. Managing the implementation of the projects funded and prepare all needed financial and technical reports.

I coordinated the project of Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange funded by the European Commission and in partnership with Search for Common Ground, Soliya, UNIMED, Sharing Perspectives Foundation, Migration Matters and UNICollaboration. My main mission was to implement an online debate between 42 country with 250 participants within 3 months. I designed the debate programs, coordinated between 6 partners, conducted training to national coordinates and reported to donors.

I managed the Grant received from the European Commission amounting more than 7 Million Euros and maintain all reporting requirements. I was also coordinating the funds received from the different Member States and ensuring that the technical and financial reports are following the agreements and delivered within the deadlines. I was monitoring the implementation of the grants’ activities and programmes.

I led a team of 10 people to implement the Civil Society Conference “Moltaqa Dawrak” with more than 400 participants and more than 300,000 EUR. The event was implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and the ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt with the support of the European Commission and the Government of Finland. I was responsible of the development of the programme of the conference from the workshop content and methodology and the implementation.

I was part of the team organizing the Anna Lindh Forum in Marseille Apr 2013 with more than 1,300 participants and a budget of more than 1 Million Euro. I handled the event’s organization, logistical arrangement, partnerships agreement and the budget management.

As part of the political parties’ team, I was responsible of reporting on trainings and monitoring of the elections to the Supreme Armed Forces and the Headquarter in Washington. I have also worked on the logistical preparation of the training in different governorates in Egypt like: Alexandria, Kafr El Sheikh, Matrouh, Menoufia and Beheira. I worked also on analysing and reporting on political events throughout the country and level of participation of political parties in the elections.

As a project coordinator, I was responsible of the implementation of the TV Sciences Series produced by the BA and funded by three main donors SIDA, OFID and Vodafone. I worked with different departments from the publishing, the research, the studio and the finances to make sure that the content and vision is accomplished, grants contracts and delivery deadlines are respected, and I was responsible of the financial and technical reporting. I was also part of the Fundraising Department of the BA.
