As Head of Data Science at CARBON, I lead the Data Science team of 10 people and manage the team spread between Lagos, Cape Town and US from the London-based leadership office. I influence and provide expertise by establishing the strategic road map for Data Science and Engineering and by bridging the gap between Software Engineering, Risk Management, Credit Analytics and BI departments.

Responsible for the AI algorithms modeling and deployment in order to deliver a framework able to analyze and optimize Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns. The core of the AI engine was to allow budgets to be automatically moved from under-performing ad sets to the best performing ones, thereby maximising results, as well as to optimize the bidding strategy to help customer campaigns deliver according to the objective they select.

Worked as a consultant for Certace which connects the top 1% of data experts (Information Strategists, Analysts, Machine Learning Scientists, Data Architects, Data Engineers, etc.) with the most relevant and meaningful high-impact projects in order to help organizations advance through a clear data strategy allowing for descriptive, predictive and prescriptive data insights.

My role is to bring a strategic thinking related to data in order to extract actionable insights that will help drive decisions across the business. I have buily a high-level data integration / aggregation systems through numerous systems and data sets in order to build machine learning models in order to predict sales, lifetime value and churn.

Responsible for planning, connecting, designing, scheduling, and deploying the Data Warehouse and Data Lake. Full ETL mapping. Design and Deployment of the Follow-up Matrix for the Strategy Department. Data Processing and Entity Recognition. NLP system deployed for the understanding of the Legal documents and contracts. Developed in-house tools for Fraud investigation and prevention.
