Starting with only an idea, Berlin-Ice has is changing the way that Germany integrates facilities and programming to raise the next generation of ice sports athletes and enthusiasts. With partnering and support from current and former Olympians and professional athletes, and the enthusiastic support of the Berlin city government and Berlin ice sports clubs, Berlin-Ice is at the cutting edge of the intersection between sports, social and community enrichment, and urban infrastructure development.

After working with Geovadis as a contractor, I was brought on board full-time to become the Director of this Berlin-Madrid based FDI consulting firm. As part of a multi-national team, I conducted in-depth market research and developed strategic and marketing plans to attract foreign direct investment to regions in North America, Europe and Latin America.

After moving to Germany with over 15 years of American consulting experience under my belt, I identified a desire from many German businesses and academic institutions to get a better understanding of American business practices. From industry sector research, to project planning case studies to analysis of opportunities and potential pitfalls of pending transatlantic trade deals, I worked intensely toward to goal of identifying and deriving the best from both worlds.

As part of a multi-year project, I provided valuation consulting services to Accenture Federal Services related to a contract with the United States Department of Energy Loan Guarantee Program to determine fixed asset values at alternative energy generation, distribution, and manufacturing facilities. Not only did these reports have to withstand stringent federal government audit scrutiny, they also had to be politically bulletproof before Congressional subcommittees.

A leader in conducting due-diligence facility inspections and asset and enterprise valuations, Bond & Pecaro played an essential role in many of the largest radio and television mergers in history. As part of an elite team of valuation experts - and with the highest professional certification in my field - I wrote asset valuation reports for thousands of properties related to M&A, tax assessment disputes, lawsuits and government audits.
